It gives us great pleasure to inform you that Karolina Pająk, MSc (Eng), from the Medical University of Lublin, a PhD student in the team of Prof. Krzysztof Jóźwiak, a beneficiary of the TEAM programme (4/2009 edition), is one of 17 young chemists from all over the world chosen for the SciFinder Future Leaders in Chemistry programme.

The programme, organized by the American Chemical Society, the world?s largest scientific society which disseminates the results of chemical research, is targeted at PhD students and young researchers working in chemical research who have major scientific achievements and show strong commitment to research.

This year?s SciFinder Future Leaders in Chemistry winners have been invited to the Chemical Abstracts Service headquarters in Columbus (USA) for an inside view of how the world?s biggest chemical database works. As a mark of special recognition, Karolina Pająk has also been invited to present a paper on her research results at the 246th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Indianapolis, held on 8-12 September 2013.
